Chicken Tikka Masala

We all love Indian cuisine, nothing more delicious and fulfilling than a chicken tikka masala but most of the time we are reticent to cook it at home due to the amount of time it takes or not being well aware of the spices to use to get those yummy flavours. Worry no more, Patak’s Tikka Masala cooking sauce got you covered. It contains all the spices needed, just need to add it to your chicken and your marinade is ready.


  • 600g Chicken, skin removed, diced
  • ½ red onion or 2 shallots, finely sliced
  • 6 cherry tomatoes, quartered
  • 1 jar Patak’s Tikka Masala Cooking Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Juice of ½ lemon (optional)
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • 1 tablespoon coriander chopped


  • In a pan, heat the vegetable oil, add the red onion and shallots.
  • Then, after 2 minutes, add the chicken and let cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the tomatoes and Patak’s Tikka Masala cooking sauce. Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
  • Stir occasionally to prevent sauce from sticking to the bottom of the pan.
  • Season with salt, sugar and lemon juice, adjust to taste.
  • Sprinkle with coriander and serve with rice.
