Combining the comforting qualities of noodles with the irresistible crunch of KFC Crispy Strips, this dish promises a harmonious blend that will delight your senses. Simmered to perfection, the rich and savory broth serves as the foundation for a medley of fresh vegetables, including tender carrots and crisp bok choy. The noodles, cooked to al dente perfection, provide the perfect canvas for this culinary masterpiece.



  • 3 KFC Crispy Strips
  • 1/2 cup (50g) julienned carrots
  • 1 cup (100g) bok choy, sliced
  • 1 cup (100g) wheat noodles
  • 2 cups (500ml) chicken stock
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tablespoon light soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dark soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon chili oil


For the Broth:

In a deep pan, heat 1 tablespoon of oil. Add the ginger-garlic paste, light soy sauce, dark soy sauce, chili oil, and rice vinegar. Pour in the chicken stock and let it simmer for a few minutes.

For the Noodles:

Once the broth is simmering, add the noodles and cook until semi-cooked, about 2-3 minutes. Add the sliced bok choy, julienned carrots, and 1 tablespoon of chopped green chili. Cover and let the vegetables cook until tender, about 5 minutes. (Optional: You can also add 1/2 cup (50g) of stir-fried mushrooms for extra umami flavor.)

For the Soft-Boiled Egg:

In the meantime, prepare a soft-boiled egg with a semi-runny yolk.


In a bowl, pour the broth and noodles. Top with the cooked bok choy and carrots. Halve the 3 KFC Crispy Strips and arrange them on top. Garnish with 1 teaspoon of chili oil, 2 tablespoons of chopped spring onions, and 2 tablespoons of roasted peanuts.
