Badam Milk (Saffron Almond Milk, Badam Doodh) is a popular traditional Indian Ayurvedic drink made using almonds, milk, and sugar. Saffron and cardamom powder are added to it for additional flavor. Make this healthy, protein-packed beverage to energize your body, mind, and soul.



  • 15-20 Almond
  • 2 tbsp Cardamom powder
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • Few saffron strands
  • 1 cup of Milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar


  • Blend together almonds, cardamom powder and cinnamon powder into a smooth powder mix
  • This can be stored in an airtight container and be used repeatedly.
  • Boil a cup of milk, add in 1 to 2 tbsp of the almond powder mix, sugar as per your preference and a few strands of saffron. Mix well.
  • Serve hot or chill the milk for a few hours before serving.
