Japanese Ramen with Mine Apollo

Indulge in what is truly one of the most beloved dishes in present-day Japan with this easy ramen recipe. Originally from China, the Japanese have taken ramen to their hearts, and there now exists an endless number of variations and regional flavours of what is essentially a bowl of noodle soup with toppings. Enjoy these ramen Apollo noodles for lunch or dinner!.

INGREDIENTS

1 Packet Apollo noodles chicken flavour
1 tsp Soy sauce
1 tsp Garlic-chili paste
1/2 tsp Cumin powder
Red chili flakes
2 eggs (hard boiled)
Water

Garnish
2 eggs (hard boiled)
Pak Choi/Bok Choi
Spring Onions
Sweet Chilli Sauce (Optional)
Sesame

 

PRÉPARATION

  1. Half boil the noodles, drain.
  2. Boil a 150ml water per packet of noodle.
  3. Add the chicken flavouring powder that comes with the noodles, soy sauce, garlic-chili paste, cumin powder, red chili flakes.
  4. Add the drained noodles, stir and let it boil for a few minutes, until the noodles absorbed some of the water.
  5. Pour in bowl and garnish with sliced hard-boiled eggs, fried vegetables, sesame seeds, sliced spring Onions and sweet chilli sauce.
